During the last years iHerb became very popular in Ukraine due to the high quality of your products and services. The amount of Your customers from Ukraine is rising instantly and we are greatful for your work.
Unfortunately, the reason for sending this letter was a valuable quantity of lost parcels from September till October 2012. During this period buyers from Ukraine didn’t received about 300 parcels for about 20000 US Dollars (quantity and amount of lost parcels is growing from hour to hour, but the attached lost orders list contains data collected on 03.12.2012). This data is collected only inside one internet community of Iherb consumers. In general Ukraine customers are looking for thousands of missing packages. After mid-November shipping orders to Ukraine is working properly and we don’t know about any lost goods. Problems arose precisely with purchases made in September and October.
We have no doubt that your company fulfilled their obligations under the packaging and shipment of goods from the warehouse. Perhaps, the transportation company DHL Global Mail has problems with transportation and delivery of the cargo to Ukraine. Among Ukrainian consumers there are some doubts in the quality of DHL GM services, and the shadow of suspicion, unfortunately, falls on your company.
Many of Ukrainian customers have stopped to shop in Iherb until all the circumstances of the case were clear. Also, there are people, and their number is rising, who wish to finish shopping in your store at all. Buyers who have not received their parcels with iHerb, going to handle complaints to various authorities, including the international and the local Society for the Protection of Consumer Rights, writing public statements in the media and social networks, to consult with lawyers to prepare lawsuits for fraud. Many popular Internet resources already appeared negative feedback on your online store.
According to the World Postal Convention, you (Iherb) as the sender of a postal item own this item until it is delivered to the addressee. We, Ukrainian buyers, demand to conduct the search of our parcels and to provide us with clear information about the location and the time of delivery of our goods. Each parcel has a unique track number Iherb and internal track number DHL GM, which is the basis for our requirements.
The mention of such force majeure reasons of a possible delay as "the holidays, hurricanes strike" will be considered as not serious or adequate and not meeting our requirements to conduct the search of undelivered mail. Two or even more months is ample time for general delivery of any product over the world.
We, your customers from Ukraine, have joined together with an aim to get our orders, to restore confidence to the Iherb store, and to help you improve the system of delivery of the goods, to make it as comfortable, and secure as quickly as possible. We are also asking you to provide the possibility of delivery to Ukraine with the tracking number to track parcels, as it is already have done for Russia. We are ready to pay extra fees for improving the reliability of service and to secure our shopping.
