Dear I-Herb,
For the last few years iHerb has become very popular in Ukraine due to the high quality of your products and services. The amount of your customers from Ukraine is increasing constantly, and we are grateful for your work.
Unfortunately, the reason for sending this letter is a huge amount of lost parcels sent starting from September till October 2012. During this period the customers from Ukraine didn’t receive about 300 parcels for a total sum of over $20 000 (the total sum and amount of lost parcels is growing every hour, but the attached lost packages list contains data collected by 12/03/2012). The data was collected only within one Internet community of Iherb consumers. In general, Ukrainian customers are waiting for thousands of missing packages. After mid-November the orders shipped to Ukraine arrive in time. It's the Iherb purchases made in September and October that went missing en masse.
We have no doubt that your company carried out its duties concerning the packaging and shipment of goods from the warehouse. Perhaps, the DHL Global Mail transportation company had problems with the transportation and delivery of the cargo to Ukraine. Some Ukrainian consumers have their doubts about the quality of DHL GM services, and unfortunately, the shadow of suspicion is cast on your company.
Many of us have stopped shopping at Iherb until all the circumstances of the case are clear. Also, there are people, and their ranks are increasing, who wish to stop shopping at your store at all. The customers who haven't received their parcels from iHerb are thinking of filing complaints to various authorities, including international and local consumer rights protection societies, if needed, they would write public statements to the media and within social networks, and if the worst comes to the worst, we'll go as far as to hire lawyers to file lawsuits for fraud. There is a wave of negative feedback about your online store on numerous popular websites as it is.
According to the World Postal Convention, you (Iherb), being the sender of a postal item, are the sole owner of this item until it is delivered to the addressee. We, the Ukrainian buyers, would kindly ask you to conduct a thorough search for our parcels and to get back to us with clear information about the location of our goods and the time of their delivery. Each parcel has a unique track number given by Iherb and also an internal track number given by DHL GM, so that makes our requirements possible to meet.
We also ask you to please give us some credit and not to mention such force majeure reasons of possible delays as the holidays, hurricanes, etc. - we won't think them serious or adequate reasons for not doing what we kindly ask you to do - to please conduct the search of undelivered mail. Two or even more months is more than enough time to deliver any product to any spot over the globe.
We, your disappointed customers from Ukraine, have joined ranks with an aim to get our orders, to restore our confidence in Iherb, and to help you improve your system of delivery and to make it convenient and reliable as soon as possible. We are also asking you to please provide us with the possibility of shipping goods to Ukraine with a tracking number so that we could track parcels, as it was already done for Russia. We are ready to pay extra for improved reliability of your services and for safe receipt of our purchases.
We'd love to remain your loyal customers and enjoy your high quality products in future.
We look forward to receiving the information on the status of our orders and expecting your prompt help in their delivery.
