Dear Sir,
This letter is the the second one about more than 400 orders made in Iherb online store within September and October 2012, and still undelivered to adressees.
We, over 100 ukrainian customers, who have paid their money (over $20,000) to your company, insist you to initiate serious investigation about these lost parcels.
We have got an answer from Robert Rugh (iHerb Customer Service Manager), but we don't find it satisfying for many reasons.
You provide only one kind of shipping to Ukraine – by DHL GM without any tracking number, so that without responsibility. Though, you tell us that DHL GM is “very reliable”.
Оne of the DHL's statements is that
“Once the package arrives in your country, it is up to your local customs agency and/or postal service to take it from there and deliver your package to you.”
Well, we would want to inquire a request to Ukrainian Customs and Ukrposhta, but we need first to know exactly whether these parcels were arrived to Ukraine or not.
But DHL GM didn't give us any document or fact that may prove delivering our packages to Ukrainian territory in any way. At the same time, there is a fact that Ukrainian parcels were mis-sent to Uganda, that shows incorrect work of DHL GM. This moment is very important for investigation, do you agree?
So that, we doubt that DHL GM have made their duties, ant that these orders were really delivered to Ukraine at all.
Thus, at the moment, the full responsibility for these lost parcels and their delivery still remains at IHERB (as sender and owner of these packages) and DHL GM as transport company. Which have got money for their service, but haven't fulfilled it for now.
Actually, does DHL GM make assert that Ukrainian Customs and Ukrposhta have stolen more than 400 parcels? It is very serious statement and it should be proved by documents. And it is strange that part of October's and most of November's parcels containing the same goods were delivered unopened and quickly.
We strongly insist again to provide detailed investigation considering fact of mis-sending few ukrainian parcels to Uganda.
Hope to receive not empty words, but facts that will show us where are our orders now, and when they will be delivered.
Hope you are interested in this investigation as well as us. We have a right to get information and our purchases, and we’ll carry it out. If you don’t give us clear answers within a week, we intend to involve other organizations, sort of International Customer Service Association, BBB and different medias. This letter will be published everywhere. We don’t want to be cheated.
Waiting for your reply,
Customers from Ukraine.
