Your Company iHerb became very popular in Ukraine during last years. Thanks to the high quality of goods that you provide, and affordable prices, the number of your clients is rising instantly and we are greatful for your work.
Unfortunately, the reason we are writing this letter is different. You see, within September and October 2012 a valuable quantity of Ukrainian orders was undelivered yet. During this period numerous buyers from Ukraine haven’t received more than 350 parcels, total sum near $20,000 (quantity and amount of lost parcels is growing from hour to hour, the attached file contains data from 03.12.2012).
This list is collected by Iherb consumers from only few internet communities. In general, Ukrainian customers are looking for thousands of missing packages. After mid-November shipping service to Ukraine is working properly, but we still don’t know anything about any lost parcel. The main problems are our purchases that made in September and October.
We have no any doubt that your Company fulfilled their obligations about packaging and shipment of these goods out from the warehouse. Probably, the transportation company DHL Global Mail had some problems with transportation and delivery of the cargo to Ukraine. There are some doubts about the quality of DHL GM servises among Ukrainian consumers, and the shadow of suspicion, unfortunately, falls on your Company as well.
A big amount of Ukrainian buyers have terminated their shopping in Iherb until all the circumstances of the case were clear. Also, there are many of people, and their number is rising, who wish to finish shopping in your store at all. Plenty of buyers who have not received their parcels from iHerb, going to handle complaints to various authorities, including the international and the local Societies for the Protection of Consumer Rights, writing public statements in the media and social networks, to get consult of lawyers in order to prepare lawsuits for fraud. Many negative feedbacks about your online store are appeared in many popular Internet sources.
According to the World Postal Convention, only your Company (Iherb) as a Sender of postal items is the Owner of these parcels until they are delivered to the addressee. We, hundreds of Ukrainian buyers, ask you to contact to DHL Global Mail as a Transportation Company which is responsible for packages it transports, and to insist on investigation and searching of undelivered goods. There isn’t one single parcel that lost occasionally, but hundreds of boxes. We want to get clear information about location of packages and terms when our orders will be delivered. You know well, that each parcel has an unique tracking number from Iherb, and inner tracking number from DHL GM, which is the basis for our requirements.
We, your customers from Ukraine, have joined together in order to get our orders as soon as possible, to restore confidence to Iherb store, and to help you improve delivery service, making it both comfortable and secure for us. We are also asking you to provide tracking numbers for tracking of parcels, as it is already done for Russia. We are ready to pay extra fees for improving the reliability of service and want our shopping to be much more secured.
