Cancellation occured after the authorization, and that is why you were told by credit card company/bank that the payment(s) was(were) approved.
However, since we don't capture the amount of money on failed payment transaction(s), the amount has(have) been refunded back to your credit card account.
Sometimes, it takes a while for the credit card company to approve our recognition of your failed payment trials; from 7 days to maximum 30 days.
But you will eventually able to know that you are not charged for the failed transactions when you receive your card bill.
